This product assists employees and/or dependants to meet funeral expenses. It is usually effected by the employer on behalf of employees and the employer can select either of the two available plans:
This product assists employees and/or dependants to meet funeral expenses. It is usually effected by the employer on behalf of employees and the employer can select either of the two available plans:
- Employee-only cover: Under this plan all eligible employees are covered. The employee will nominate their preferred beneficiary of the lump sum funeral benefit.
- Employees and Family cover: Under this plan the above employees and their immediate family are covered. The employee nominates the beneficiary of the lump sum funeral benefit in the event of the employee’s death. However, if a family member dies the benefit is paid to the employee.
