Management Accountant
◙ Job Objectives:
To complete statutory returns; liaise with banks and regulatory authority, reconcile bank accounts, investigate and report on issues. Enhance team performance by guiding junior staff in their duties.
◙ Responsible for:
- Preparation of quarterly reports to NAICOM
- Approval/checking of claims payment processes (confirmation/sign-off)
- Weekly review of payment/collections report
- Preparation of ledger posting for cashbook entries
- Investigation of tax matters with tax authorities
- Support for auditors on audit matters (specific to recons & provide supporting docs)
- Monthly bank reconciliation and investigation
- Raising and posting of relevant journal vouchers
◙ Job Requirements:
- A minimum of HND/BSC degree in Accounting
- ACA (part qualification)
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience in financial team within the Insurance Industry.
